Well... I have been using a GSPEC for a while now, and I love it!
The cocking handle dosnt get in the way with the scope The Silencer actually makes a difference in sound And if you have the HOP adjusted JUST RIGHT, the BB Soars!

Yeah the Gspec is a good rifle. I owned one for a couple months and it worked really well. It is really light so it will not burn you out. Kirley is right, the silencer makes you rifle so much more quiet, it actually has a really cool sound. The only thing that might be e problem for a hardcore sniper is it has a small barel compared to other rifles. Well if you have any other questions just ask

I can vouch for a upgraded CA M24. The weight is realistic (heavy). It's a solid gun and it very precise.
Scope in the way of the bolt?? I have a low mount for my scope and it hardly get in the way. Maybe in some odd positions, but it's not a big issue.

You did read that he's asking about the CAW (Craft Apple Works) M24 and not the CA (Classic Army) one, right?

The CA M24 is garbage unless CA fixed the mech ive had alot of problems with them, the trigger busting on them and the hopup going the VSR 10 Gspec ive had no problems and they preform really well STOCK... i highly suggest the VSR 10 Gspec because, there is more support for it if somthing does go, TM parts are easier to find.

Keep in mind that when upgrading the spring for the first time you need to drill out the cylinder head with a drill press, it's a rather difficult process if you don't have the right tools.
I have the VSR-10 pro sniper which has a longer inner barrel and no silencer. looks more like an m24. Awesome gun, used it all season with no problems whatsoever and have had plenty of kills comparable if not more kills than my buddies with AEG's (when the senerio's are right.), feeds every bb, 30 round mags which is plenty for a sniper rifle. And overall very solid and consistant gun. The TM hop up works wonders too. Easy to adjust for range with slight clicks on the side. Also has tons of upgrade parts available should any of it break down. As for the scope getting in the way, that's more of a VSR pro-sniper problem than a Gspec, they redesigned the bolt so it doesn't interfere with the bolt. however, on the pro sniper where the bolt tilts up more it makes it difficult to fit your hand inbetween the bolt and your scope. You should get high mounts anyway though as it'll get difficult to look through your scope properly with low mounts and paintball goggles.
