Yes there is, the Manitoba Airsoft Association or MAA has a website www.mb-airsoft.com Winnipeg also has an indoor close quaters facility called Xtreme Tactics www.xtreme-tactics.com
Have a look at those places, sign up, post on the forums. P.S. Use the search button on this forum, people get alittle pissy when you don't |

Winnipeg doesn't have an "airsoft store"....yet. Those are pretty rare outside of TO/Vancouver. You can buy accessories (but not guns) at Xtreme Tactics. But don't worry, there's something in the works as far as buying new guns locally. Join the MAA and find out!

Every time I manage to see XT when landing back in winnipeg. Only if the "batman" spotlight was pointed up instead of a wall.

lol that pic is awesome, ya it does suck here for the most part. There is a very dynamic and interesting group of outdoor airsoft players. XT isnt the only airsoft here. In fact if you really wanna be hardcore play outdoors. Anyone can play in an airconditioned, or heated building.

I agree Ducky, Xt isn't the only airsoft in winnipeg, but for people new to the city it is very convenient.

I never said it wasnt convenient, but for someone who has tried pretty hard to get more people to show up, and invited people to use their land. Also making things as comfortable as possible for new players to come out its kinda discouraging to be totally overlooked.
XT is great, Grod is a great guy with alot of motivation for airsoft. As for the players who exclusively play at XT and dont care about the outdoor games, I dont consider them airsofters yet. Say what you want about my views but its true, Im also not the only person with that oppinion. |

what if a person had some illness that doesnt allow him to be outside due to radiation. he is forced to stay indoors... would you consider him not being an airsofter due to this illness?... i guess an airsofter is all in YOUR state of mind... who or what an airsofter is to you may not count for everyone else.
XT is a great place weather you like to play indoor or outdoor. and besides... we have sexy al in there.... who hasnt shot him a few times or used him as cover.

Once Again I even said XT is great, for what it is anyways. Also NO I would not consider that person an airsofter even if they cant go outside for medical reasons. Yes it wouldnt be their fault, infact I dont blame anyone for not joining the outdoor games.
If someone doesn't want to play outdoors then thats fine. It's more enjoyable if only the dedicated individuals who enjoy it show anyways. What I'm saying is the only thing that was really mention on the thread was XT, and no one even gave credit to the outdoor community. There are alot of dedicated players and individuals who mostly only play outdoors, who all put alot of effort into making the sport alot better. Basically my point is dont shut yourself in just to XT. Ask any player who went from XT to outdoor games, and see what they say is more enjoyable. Ive invited alot of new players out to skrims and such this year who before only saw XT. Every single one of them loved outdoor more, and want to show more often next season. Dont believe me fine Ill get the proof. |

My Birthday is december 22nd. Ill be 16 so I'll probably be going to XT for my first time. (I've been there but never played) Probably wont be till a little while after my Bithday. Personally, I think I would prefer outdoor games. That's what relative's quarter-sections are for!
