TM G26 slide movement inquiry
Can someone with a TM G26 or 26a do a check for me.
When the slide is all the way back and you release it and let it go slowly forward with your hand, does it catch anywheres? Mine is catching somewheres, I think it is the little nub that is push down when the slide goes back. I fell a very distict bump and rub. I am 100% sure it is the cause, but have to compare it to another G26 to be 100% sure. |

If I slowly release the slide, it does get stuck half way, roughly.
Even after a mega lube job/cleaning, does the same. I own two, one a fair bit newer then the other, and both do it. One has the original TM slide, and the other has a JKW ABS slide and OB. I have yet to take a gander, sorry! |

My old TM Glock 26 did the exact same thing.
Never really thought to much of it, as every other 26 I've played with has done the same thing. |

it's actually the hammer pressing against the slide internals. perfectly normal, it's what cocks the gun after every shot. since the g26 hammer presses so hard against the slide i found that installing a hammer spring actually fucks up the gun. the boost gained from the larger gas burst is nulled by how hard the hammer now rubs against the slide internals.
