Possible Newbie Question: Left Handed Pistols
Hi, if this is in the wrong section, mods please put it where it belongs.
Im wondering if all airsoft pistols is the slide catch able to be modified to the right side? Same for mag catches for Glocks/1911s? Suitable for dual wielding pistols or left handers? I know the TM Beretta/ most prob other berettas have a mag catch which can be adjusted for either left or right handers, but as far as I know, there is no pistol which has a slide catch on the right side. How then do left handers fire certain pistols? Simply adapt? Im not a left hander, simply thinking of buying dual wielding Glocks/ Berettas but this poses a significant problem. Thanks. |

There is an older thread on this actually, that had a lot of good answers, take a quick peek for it, I don't feel like searching that much, but to answer quickly... I adapted. I'm a lefty, I'm just very used to adapting to work in a right handed world, I just do things diferently so they work. Hell, when I look at someone lefthanded doing something it looks backwards to me, because I'm so used to just flipping it around in my mind.

I have a WE Hi-Capa, currently getting pretty used to adapting to use my left middle finger to hit the mag release, actually works pretty well. Since there's no ejecting shells to worry about, you're good to go.

1911's will unlock the slide catch when you insert a full mag so you do not have to hit the slide catch like glocks.
If your going to duel, I'd recomend something small like the 1911's... I've dueled glocks and they're pritty tricky when reloading and take some time. The 1911's will make a huge differnts and look a lot better.

TM Sig P226 can be converted to left handed by flipping around the mag release.
