TM Desert Eagle On Green Gas?

I have read alot of threads about people who have said that thier TM GBB broke a slide because of propane. However I was looking at 007Airsoft and it said that the Desert Eagle and one or two other pistols were ok on Green Gas.

Here is the link

I would like a little clarifaction please.

It the stock platic slides that have a tendency to break.

If you upgrade to a metal ones, you are good to go. Although you can usually run on the stock one for a little while.

so far my slide has not broken on my TM desert eagle, and i have used it for about 4-5 bottles of propane or more.
the only thing that has happend was a pice inside of the slide broke, but i dont know if that was because of the propane or not as i had lent the gun out a couple times before i noticed it was broken. the pice did not afect performance, but im not sure if i can get the spring for the safty to sit in the gun any more (i havnt tried yet)
so ya, i wouldnt worry about it to much on the DE, and the the Mk 23 and the hardballer dont have moving slides, so i dont think it would be a problem with them either.

Are you saying that the DE has no moving slide?

Weren't some of the very first Desert Eagles from TM non-blowback?
Not sure where I saw this... likely wrong, but now I'm interested.

WE Hi-Cap

Try reviewing the WE Hi-Cap 5.1 C02 Full metal. My opinion, it's the best quality made hand gun. The gun overall is built like a brick chit house, I just croned the gun at 335 fps with the C02 Hi-Cap mag. I was so happy I just purchased six more.

WE Hi-Cap 5.1 Full Metal
WE Hi-Cap 5.1 Mark II Full Metal
WE Hi-Cap 5.1 Mark III Full Metal

soory for the confusion. yes a DE has a moving slide. i was saying from my experiance it can handle propane pretty good. and seeing as the other guns dont have moving slides, there slides arn't going to break. :-D

No Kidding. I have to save for this Desert Eagle and a Systema FTK and I just bought a Full Metal body and that doesn't even come close to the price of six of the Hi-Cap 5.1s.

heh heh those WE De's are not bad.

I've ordered a 10" full metal upgrade kit for my TM DE, will put the guns value around $700 and thats before any internal upgrades.
