Just played an outdoor game today with MAA and friends. Among the standard crop of MP5 and M16s, the following made an appearance:
- Thompson - M14 - P90 - SG552 - G3/SG1 - KJ M700 (didn't play, mag wouldn't hold gas in 0C temp) We Manitobans got all the straps, homies. |

Not in Canada no but I've played in USA...due to Kuramae and their late shipping and my fear of the cold I won't be playing till next spring. When I played in the States over the summer I only saw like 2 shotguns and they were cheapo hardballers. Also I rarely see them in the pics of games.

Believe it or not, the Hardballer shotguns are among the best cheap springers you can buy. I've got one and several other people here bought one for playing indoors at Xtreme Tactics during springer-only games.
They're by far the quickest springer to shoot; you can hold the trigger and keep pumping. The foreend is spring loaded so that you only need to pump it back, then the spring shoots it forward for you. It fires around 150 fps with a 0.20g and is pretty durable for a spring gun. Too bad about the transparent clear construction, but that's what Krylon Fusion is for. While I was reffing a game at XT once, one side was getting schooled pretty badly. When this happens a team member will sometimes come in and play to even things out. Out comes Ding with his Hardballer and totally owns the other team who's all using AEGs or GBBs. Just goes to show that the cost of your equipment isn't a determining factor in how good you are. |

Ya, I agree with that Shuridys and I also agree that there are too many M4, MP5, etc.
I want to see more LMGs and SL9s, that would be pretty cool.

I'd want more FA-MASes, but that'd make my gun less original. However, it'd be a nice change over the M4s/other generic guns, and there'd be more tech support.
After the mod on the FA-MAS, however, I won't have to worry about originallity...

I'm with Vondnik. Every gun I own you don't see on the field too often but, thats why I have them.
Full metal WA Infinity Hybrid Marushin M1887 Gas Shot gun G&P M41A Pulse Rifle I'd like to see more Pulse Rifles on the field. It's just a shame that they cost an arm and a leg. |

Though I have only been to a couple of games i have never seen an MP5. They were woodland games, but M4's were out in full force.
There was an AK or 2, a p90, a aug, a sig, one g36C, the other 10 or so were armilites. |
