Could you be more specific on actual area to remove? (i.e. is it the area that makes contact with the sector gear nub?) |

Remove some material from the curve on the tappet fin that the cam on the sector gear pulls. Then make sure the front of the tappet is still a right angle, as pulling the plate too far back causes it to buckle forward once it hits the cylinder head.

Hey pestobanana: your method worked! I took about 1mm off the curve edge on the tappet plate and that has completely eliminated the feeding issue! Thanks so much for your help!!!
Also wanted to say a big thanks to all the others who have contributed ideas and suggestions on this issue. Really appreciate the community we have here on ASC! |

Before you celebrate make sure you chrono the gun. Just because it is feeding does not mean its shooting consistently.
If you already did and its shooting consistently congrats When I had my issues with my gun it would feed but you'd get FPS way off randomly all over the place. I found this out the hard way when I pulled out my new gun on the field and I'd see the bullets flop left right center. Luckily for me I had a back up that day Last edited by shelcoof; August 25th, 2016 at 00:38.. |

i've chrono'd it to be at around ~340FPS on 0.2g with a SHS M100 spring. Seems lower than I've expected, but its fairly consistent, without jumping all over the place.

check nozzle for air leak 340 isn't that low so its a small leak somewhere my VR16 shoots 395fps on a m100 I've teflon taped the cylinder head and thats it everything else is stock.

I tell you with Airsoft you fix one thing another two pops up. At least with Airseal it isn't as big of a puzzle as the feeding |

Remove material from front face of the tappet plate as well as the fin where the sector gear shaft makes contact to allow the nozzle to seat further forward.

Do what pestobanana said but don't remove too much as it gets weaker.

I will try to mod the tappet plate further per pestobanana's suggestion and report back
