WE MSK low velocity
Hey guys, we brought in one of the WE MSKs for a customer. Advertised velocity with .20s is about 435fps.
Brand new out of the box it's between 290fps and 320fps. Tried oiling it and different gas, but haven't had much luck. Any suggestions on things to do or try? Also, should mention. I was testing it indoors at about 20 degrees celcius. Last edited by Trimmer; January 20th, 2016 at 14:20.. |

Did you try a different magazine? I've always had issues with the MSK, but I think some people haven't.
Might be the nozzle. I know the FPS shouldn't be that low OOTB, should be in the 400ish area. |

I tried the P-mag it came with and just a random WE M4 mag we had in the store, didn't notice any real difference. Guess I'll check out the nozzle.

Don't really want to modify it too much so that I don't void the warranty for the guy. One thing I just noticed though, the magazine has some play, if you let the magazine sit freely every few shots it sounds like the gun is running out of gas and you get a "wimpy" shot. If you hold the mag and push it forward slightly, the gun sounds like it's shooting a lot harder, but it still doesn't chrono above 300fps.
I've also tried two different chronos |
