I'm fixing an a&k Masada I bought a while ago and I found a pleasant surprise! All the internals were aftermarket, yay. What I need to know is why the guy was thinking when he put KA 100:300 gears with I high speed motor... That seems counter intuitive. Can anyone offer some insite on why someone would do that? I'm curious.

in old motor lexicon, torque gears are easier to turn. faster motors turn the gearset over quicker but don't generate a lot of torque. torque motor with torque gears is slower than torque gears with speed motor.

in new neo magnet motor lexicon. use any neo magnet motor with whatever gears you want. They have more torque and speed than any one of those in a traditional torque or speed motor.
