Its a shitty pic but I no longer have the gun to get a better one.
All I used was an Harris style bi-pod. I removed the Rail attachment piece, removed the old bi-pod and the part that attached to the gas tube and cut off what I think is the mount to attached to a vehicle.

I was extremely solid, Had no regrets doing it and would do it again if I ever buy another.

rotate the bipod off to the side, attach to side rail. I machined a custom gas cylinder to allow this

Buy a real Mk46 bipod, one of the new ones that fold to the side to accommodate a vertical grip even when it's folded.

Sure it'll cost you $600, but what else are you going to spend that money on?

I was very close to going down the $600 option on two occasions. There's a couple posters on here that have them

It's depressing how a price that sounds absolutely retarded slowly but surely becomes less and less retarded. The first time I heard Eotechs were $500 I was dumbfounded, but that was a long time ago. You get what you pay for.

Well if you have the side rails, you can always travel the route of the CAA bipod, easily have access to your foregrip

Buddy has one of these. They do lock in place every 90 degrees giving you different mounting options
