Yeah the KJW/socom gear 1911's that run on cot are damn nice for the 250 dollar price tag (may vary but I get em for 250 at my local retailer) but as has been said grab an aeg first then grab a pistol for a secondary if you feel the need to lug 5 or so extra pounds around with ya (pistol and 2 or 3 mags adds up pretty quick, co2 mags are lighter, single stacked lighter still, you start getting into a deagle or other larger pistol it could be heavier lol)
That being said I always carry a pistol (unless it's cold out) I swap between my m9's and my 1911 mostly but I also have some others. Pistols are a nasty habit, they are so fun to shoot and make shoot beter that I can't stop buying em. Tho gbbr 's and aeg's are the same lol.
