I've got a Bolt, it's pretty awesome. Haven't chrono'd yet but she gotta be pretty close to 420fps and around 20rps on an 11.1. Very tight grouping and strong recoil, fells like most gbbr's. No quick change spring but fully upgradeable/downgradeable. All of my mags feed without issue although a couple are a pretty tight fit. Only negative is the ejection port cover is shit, I'll replace it at some point.

I can't say enough good things about this platform.
Even the hop-up unit is great - holds adjustments and has very positive click-adjustments. KWA has unveiled the next generation of ERGs will have rear-wiring, similar to the Marui Recoil SOPMOD series. KWA-only trades though. |

Just wondering has anyone done any upgrades to the RM4?

I love KWA guns, huge fan have a beast of a sr10 myself, but can the rof be increased at all? 15 rps is low. Im torn between buying the ERG or waiting for the Tippmann M4 coming out in mid summer. Less moving parts and things to break.

Hi, I know i'm reviving this but I thought this could be the good place to post this.
I wonder how much FPS people get when they change their springs. I recently tried to tweak the fps of my pts ERG and I tested a couple of spare springs. One thing that I noticed is that with a light springs (m95) I was getting FPS close to what I expected (a bit more than 300 fps with a cqb barrel). However, the recoil was also pretty less present. When I tried to get the FPS up I noticed that the springs with higher rating (m120 m130) were producing recoil but was getting a lot lower FPS than usual. I'm getting a about 350 fps right now with a 130 spring wich I was usually getting about 420 fps. I just wonder who else tried to change their springs and how much FPS they get. I know spring rating can change but it could give us an idea of what spring to use for 350/400/450 fps. |

The ERG's use a Linear spring, while most springs available for sale are non-Linear.(longer springs with closely spaced coils at one end.) If you put a non-linear spring in the ERG it will decrease the felt recoil drastically.
I bought a couple CQB ERGs that were shooting 370fps, I installed an Orga 6.23 widebore inner barrel and it brought my fps down to 348 making it perfect for indoor. I have also ordered the proper Linear spring right from KWA before, fantastic customer servive and helped me get exactly what I needed.

Thanks, Considering I have only non-linear springs right now this could be an explaination.

I used a m190 in my scout and that got it shooting right around 410fps
