Inner barrel length + cylinder volume questions
Hi guys I'm fairly new here with minimal knowledge on gearbox and internal but I decided to take a leap and try to upgrade my AEG internally. So here it is:
First question is Would a modify (300-450mm) cylinder would be enough to propel bb down a madbull 6.03 455mm inner barrel? 2nd question is What spring should I use to to get as close to 390-400fps assuming perfect world minimum airleak? Any other precautions I should take note when building with this set up. All reference items are found at airsoftparts.ca... As you can see I'm not age verified yet. |

You always want to be on the minimum side of the cylinder. Heavier ammo will need more air volume than the .20s they test cylinders with.
And a 120 spring will get you closest and potentially just a bit over 400. You can add or lose 5-15fps by adding or removing the bearings on the spring guide and behind the piston head |
