On the left side it says:
HK (big letter) HK 416 Cal 5.56mm×45 Some serial number I can't read It's is very worn to the point that I can barely read |

The text on the magwell looks wrong. I have an early edition DX 416 from VFC.
The etching isn't the same and the way the text lines up doesn't look the same.

It does look wrong. Maybe it's a frankin gun?

How about trying one of those grips with an intergrated trigger guard.. Might be your easiest cheapest fix.

I contacted the retailer it was sold from and they confirmed that it is a vfc under the umarex license

Err, what retailer sells used guns? Especially ones that don't seem to be all together truthful about their product.

No I bought from someone here on ASC be he didn't know what brand it was but he suspected a vfc. On the box there was the retailers sticker so I emailed them and they said it is a vfc gen 2 hk416 cab no how many changes to the gun is up in the air

The difference between that and what you've got is like the difference between real pussy and a vinyl inflate-a-mate.
You haven't even got a fleshlight or a prison towel there.

Quote:
-incorrect rail mounting screw -incorrect ride side selector -incorrect mag release -incorrect buffer tube -flash hider washer missing -incorrect location of trades -stock doesn't look like VFC -Gen2 doesn't come with the TD grip, only Gen1 does and those aren't Gen 1 trades -only the hard to get asia versions don't have the Umarex warning Last edited by pestobanana; October 5th, 2014 at 00:37.. |

Huh... just 2 days ago one of my team mates dropped his VFC 416 of soft ground from 3 feet (I've done far worse to my guns with no negative effects) and snapped his lower receiver right by the pin aswell... His though we know for a fact is 100% VFC, it's the one won at nightfall 3.
