Huge Necro, but I need some info about these gearboxes. If you would kindly help me? ^^ I'm curious what the difference is between SP100, SP120 and SP150 gearboxes exept for the obvious springs. Also, before i take the plunge, after a year, are there any updates? Thank you Ps. too bad this isnt sticky'd |

SP100 has 16:1 gears, SP120 has 18:1 gears and SP150 apparently has torque-up gears. Although some users have reported that SP100 and SP120 have the same gear ratios, I haven't taken the time to count the teeth myself. 16:1 and 18:1 is almost negligible difference.
I think Lonex has gone through some revisions over the past year, with the removal and re-introduction of the spring guide window, but besides that, that's largely unchanged. Also external dimensions have gone back to VFC-spec, for some time they were a little wider. |

I've opened 2 drop in lonex boxes and they have gears with 19:1 labeled on the spur. Which I find odd since they don't sell a 19:1 set normally.
