1911 MEU magazine pouch?
Hey! What do you guys use for your 1911 mag pouches? I've been using a standard flap type pouch but it really doesn't hold em we'll. looking for something better:
I've got this:http://www.condoroutdoor.com/Condor-MA23-009.aspx |

What do you mean by "doesn't hold them well"? What trouble are you experiencing?
I use basically the same mag pouches, usually with the flap either removed (if I'm carrying two mags) or tucked in (single). Never had any issues and of the various pouches I've tried these have been the best so far. For reference I'm using WE single stack mags with base pads.

I find the strap often won't completely go over the top and Velcro in. Usually after a game I'll find both straps open and my mags loose inside. Haven't lost one yet but it's only a matter of time.

Would these work??
Amazon.com : Tek-Lok 1911 45ACP Double Magazine Pouch : Gun Magazine Pouches : Sports & Outdoors. Or are they worse at holding mags? |

Actually a bungee system like this looks great:

Maybe TACO? They make it in kryptek to match my load out too

Glowing endorsement for the TACO system for single stack or double stack pistol mags.
And to One Shot Tactical as your in-country source. Edit: Whoops, they seem to be sold out of all of them. Order from DS Tactical instead..

If you have lots of 1911 mags and want to try running 1911 only for cqb like I have this tuff 8 in line pouch is pretty nice.
They also make a 5 in line for double stack hi capa/glock mags too. Its not the cheapest but is very handy and compact. Amazon.com : TUFF 8 In Line Magazine Pouch (1000D Black Nylon, 1911 220) : Hunting Game Belts And Bags : Sports & Outdoors |

5.11 stuff is great
With the condor one, did you adjust the flap height? I have the same one and I adjusted it and it fits fine

I dunno how the Condor ones are made but the ones I have (PANTAC repro of Eagle ones) the flap has velcro on the back side (the part inside the pouch) so it's adjustable for length or completely removable.
