New to airsoft? Usually not recommended for newbies to jump into sniper role. Might be better to play a while first and get a feel for the style of play you might like best first. Also it would give you a chance to see how the guys play the sniper role at your local fields and what kind of gear they use. If you have your heart set on sniper don't forget to get a sidearm or secondary and a way of carrying it without snagging. My bud uses a p90 as his secondary strapped to his back...
