Rattle N Hum
Okay, no humming, but the cocking handle on my We Scar-L Closed-Bolt GBB rattles to such an extent that I'm tempted to use the SWAG theory and TLAR methods to machine a new folding one based on my old FNC1/ FN FAL.
I've even tried heat shrink tubing, which makes it too snug to fit. Does anyone have a simpler solution? Thanks or any help. Arthur. Last edited by siggypoo; February 21st, 2014 at 18:51.. |

No joy?
I'm open to any suggestions that'd help. Short of using adhesive, I'm stuck, so to speak. |

If heat shrink was too thick try foil tape.

@ Wrath:
I could give foil tape a try. I hadn't thought of it. @drk: I could also try an O-Ring. I've a few handy, though if the thin walls of heat shrink were too thick, I'm not sure I could find an O-Ring that's thinner. Thanks, both, for your input. |

Well, guys, a wrap or two of Teflon plumber's tape fixed it in short order. Easy enough to redo when I switch sides or clean anyway, and the tape was 79ยข at CanTire.
Thanks for the inspiration! |
