ICS L85 receiver problem
I have a problem with my new ICS L85. The upper and lower receivers don't seem to fit together quite right. There is a gap and the bottom wobbles. The body pins are in correct. Anybody else encounter this problem?
Here is a picture. |

Looks like your lower is not in correctly. Its a bit tricky, but you have to angle your lower when installing to hook in to the frame. Open it back up and inspect where it connects. You will see where it hooks in.

Yeah I found that sometimes the trigger contacts can not be aligned and cause problems with the receiver spacing, just try taking it apart and reseating it.

I was able to fix the problem by using some very small pieces of hockey tape. I used about 6 layers of tape, placed at the bottom of the hook, where the lower receiver latches onto. The tape causes the bottom receiver to be pushed up into the top receiver. Be careful not to put tape at the front of the hook, this would cause the receiver to be pushed backwards.
