Buying from Tiger111hk
So I noticed this forum retailer advertising quite a bit in the AV retailer section and their prices are VERY good. However browsing their website, they cannot guarantee shipments to Canada given they ship from Hong Kong and obviously with our import laws restricting airsoft guns. Is this really the case? Or do they have some sort of Canadian source they use when fulfilling Canadian orders?
I find it hard to believe that Airsoft Canada would allow them to continually advertise their guns for sale if we can't even have them shipped (seems useless to me). Could anyone shed some light on this for me? |

They say it so they aren't liable if custom "seizes it," a standard on all Asian companies.
Typically you buy gear, parts, accessories, etc from Asia companies Guns that shoot within the range of what's considered proper fps which is 366-500 it can be imported fine. I know several users and people who have done this fine. |

yeah, I found that by reading one of those threads. I missed the bit about airsoft going from replica to air gun at a certain FPS.

I bought a wood SVD kit from them and it got here in only a week. I wouldn't recommend buying any guns or other parts from any non-domestic shop though.

They will ship to Canada and guns will get through if they meet Canadian requirements. They will even ship guns that do not meet the requirements but I wouldn't recommend doing that. I ordered one "Canada legal" gun from them, paid through the web site and ended up waiting for over 3 months to get it because apparently they were out of stock while web store still showed it as in stock and took my payment... So yea, I'd be careful and buy local if I were you.

I got the Eagle Force kit and I am very impressed with the quality considering the low price. It's very sturdy with an even finish. Only bad thing is that you may need to file down a few bits to get the fit to be perfect, but not a huge deal.
