Yeah I dont think I would want to rock the arc teryx socks for an all day event. Maybe just to cross the odd swamp/stream. Your feet would cook in em.

those are pretty much gaiters, but the way they have them worn, even dew from tall grass would soak your feet.
my last pair of sealskinz were fully submersible and sealed against your skin, they worked really well but as I said the liners are coming off. i carry 3 pairs of socks on me for 24hr games, a small towel, and foot powder. my feet just get soaked in sweat, so occasionally I do need to change socks anyway lol and ill say it again, not many options for goretex socks... thought there would be more than just 2 decent options. I think im just going to have to try a pair of new sealskinz... |

There aren't more options because they always fall apart.
Nobody wants to be in a business that gets a bunch of dirty socks sent back from whiners who wore them out.

Its too bad the socks they issue in the CAF aren't available civvy side. They're awesome!
