Took the bullet and bought me a Revision Desert Locus Asian Fit with Fan,

Will write up a small review later. So far the quality is freaking amazing. Lol.

Does anyone here have any experience with Bolle's "new" X810 (successor to the X800) or their X1000 with the thermal lens?

Looking to grab my first pair of goggles and sorta stumbled on them. Was planning on getting a pair of Asian fit Revisions DL as recommended by BioRage or a pair of ESS Asian fit profiles but the lower profile Bolle's interest me a bit.

I'm not sure if fitment would be the same as the old X800's which apparently don't fit our asian face's that well according to the info I've gleaned from this thread.

Also I was wondering if anyone knew if revision has asian fit thermal lenses. Can't seem to find any and I'm not sure if fitment is lens specific or frame specific.

smith optics has an asian fit thermal I think. I was debating whether or not to buy their over the wire kit when I went with revisions.

I'm undecided if I like my revision desert locusts. I like the foam that makes contact with your face on the ess. The goggles tend to stay put better when wet, while the rubber mask fit of the revisions tends to shift or drip because the moisture has nowhere to go.

Maybe try some weatherstripping/foam tape for a custom fix on your revisions? Bit of a random quick fix, worked for my ski goggles when the original foam lining came off.
