Kjw P226 Unknown part + Not firing properly
Hey guys I bought a Shooters Design P226 Valve Knocker. Well I have it all assembled except for one part and the results are disappointing. Ill post a Video and a picture of the Unknown part. It seems the double action and single are a bit wonky, and I have one part that I cant seem to figure out where its goes.
Thanks in advance. Video http://tinyurl.com/lt3lq4w Pictures http://tinyurl.com/l5apmsp http://tinyurl.com/mg2chhz Last edited by Kungpow; August 10th, 2013 at 05:45.. Reason: Same Picture |

The "extra piece" goes on the opposite side of the mag release, partially under the right grip.
As for the firing problem, I think the hammer strut isn't installed/seated with the hammer correctly . Remove the main spring housing, then try to reposition the strut. (Test pull the hammer while holding the strut with your other hand, you'll be able to feel and see when the strut is seated properly) Hope that wasn't too vague, I need coffee....

Thanks ARC-74, well I figured out the the unknown piece but I need to know more about this hammer strut. Valve knocker or the hammer itself?
Here's a link to the directions I followed http://tinyurl.com/lmpmhtw Thanks again |

If you can't figure it out, take it to a gundoc. If you can't find anyone, I can fix it.
