Kjw P226 Unknown part + Not firing properly

Hey guys I bought a Shooters Design P226 Valve Knocker. Well I have it all assembled except for one part and the results are disappointing. Ill post a Video and a picture of the Unknown part. It seems the double action and single are a bit wonky, and I have one part that I cant seem to figure out where its goes.

Thanks in advance.

The "extra piece" goes on the opposite side of the mag release, partially under the right grip.

As for the firing problem, I think the hammer strut isn't installed/seated with the hammer correctly .
Remove the main spring housing, then try to reposition the strut. (Test pull the hammer while holding the strut with your other hand, you'll be able to feel and see when the strut is seated properly)

Hope that wasn't too vague, I need coffee....

Thanks ARC-74, well I figured out the the unknown piece but I need to know more about this hammer strut. Valve knocker or the hammer itself?

Here's a link to the directions I followed

valve knocker, the spring is slightly under pressure when you install it correctly
Here is where I learnt how to put it back

If you can't figure it out, take it to a gundoc. If you can't find anyone, I can fix it.

It turns out it was the actual hammer spring on the out-side of the gun that was making the hammer malfunction. I re adjusted it and it works fine now.

Thanks

I figured it out. Thanks for helping me last time Styrak. I almost wouldn't know what to replace if It wasn't for you and ASC.
