For all the V3 ASCU users, quote from their FB Page:
"At the moment we are preparing the Free Upgrade kits for ASCU Gen3 for gearbox v2 to Gen3+ including parts and instructions, we will prepare also a video showing how to upgrade the unit. When the kits are ready we will announce it here and on our official webpage how and from where to order them." "ASCU Gen.3+ is out Dear airsoft fellows, we used all the feed back we got form our customers regarding the ASCU Gen.3. The reported issues were related mainly to a lag in the Semi-Auto function, during fast follow up shots, which was the result of software monitoring of the system. Other report were regarding problems in installation especially in reinforced gearboxes. Also we found out that there is a large percentage of our customers that install the unit without reading the manual, as for different reasons main of which is that not all of our customers read English. As devoted airsoft playes ourselves, we felt that it is out duty to improve our product to the likes, needs and skills of our customers, to make it faster, safer, easier to install, and almost impossible to burn. The result is the ASCU Gen.3+ for gearbox version 2. What is new in Gen.3+ 1. Added polymer padding to the circuit boards, protecting them from damage during installation and use. 2. Short-circuit check software between each shot is removed and now the Sem-Auto is as fast as one can tap the trigger. 3. New Cut-off lever and selector plate designed specially for the ASCU. 4. No need to dremel or modify the reinforced gearboxes. 5. New thicker wires. For all our customers who have the ASCU Gen.3 with the trigger lag, we will prepare free upgrade kits, that will transform the ASCU Gen.3 into Gen.3+. They are going to be available through our distributors and dealers. We will keep working for you guys, doing our best to bring to the airsoft community, products that have been designed by airsoft players in the field." |

When I bought it, than work perfectly (V2.2). I loved it. After three skirmish the data calbe damaged. One of four calbe was break away so I ordered one replacement calbe from RedWolf and replaced it. It's work again, but in use the motor's negative cable was damaged. I replaced the motor cable, it went to work again. After few game the motor's pozitive connector break so I need to replace the whole cable of my ASCU. After replacing it went to work again. I could play on few games again, but my gun's gearbox damaged - the piston was break. I changed the piston and the ASCU's data cable but it didn't work.
When I connect the battery it's going to work. I hear one beep and the ECU wait for work / use. When I pull the trigger the ASCU made one cycle and stop working with two beep (sometimes it didn't give two bee fault code, just stop working). I check the manual about two beep fault code. I checked the gears, work smoothly. I checked with few battery (two of different 7.4V LiPos and with one 11.1V LiPo). I tried it with four motors (TM EG-1000, AGM High-Torque, Systema Magnum, Chao-Li Normal) but didn't work after one cycle. I tried the gearbox with the original switch and work smoothly. The programing mode is working, I can change to all four working mode At last I tried to use the ECU without gearbox. I put together the trigger switch, MOSFET-unit and the motor - without piston and spring. It made same when I use in a complete gearbox - made one cycle and stop working. My ASCU has absolute same problem: Ascu problem Please Help - YouTube |
