Issues after tight bore...
So I put a madbull 6.03 tightbore into my scar. I then loaded a mag with
bioval .20 to test the fps, and it seemed to be shooting fine at about 350-360. But then when i loaded a mag with my madbull .28 and it started making a weird pinging sound when firing, and the bbs are spinning right down no matter what I adjust on the hop up. So i took the gun apart and started over and the same thing, the .20 bioval seem to shoot ok but not the .28s?? Any ideas? |

they're different sized BBs?
If anyone you play with has BB bastards, try those |

Take your barrel out and from the hop end, drop a .28 through it to see how well it falls. If it is getting stuck, then either your barrel has some imperfections, your BBs are a shit batch for some reason, or, the final and most frustrating one, the gremlins have got you.

Turns out I didnt let the hop up off when I put the barrel in and jacked the nub
all out of place. I guess the .20s were not shooting right, because with everything put back together properly its now shooting 375 fps with laser accuracy. I am learning..... Big thanks to everyone that posted to try and help a newb. Last edited by Militant_Mind; July 19th, 2013 at 22:49.. |
