KSC Glock - worn magazine rubbers?
Hi. Has anybody experienced worn out magazine rubbers on KSC Glocks?
My KSC Glock 19 is about 4 years old. This year I noticed that the kick isnt the same as it used to and gas efficiency was bad also. I figured that the seal between the rubber and the gas chamber had to be bad. I added several layers of tape beneath the Loading Nozzle Case (http://www.tokyo-model.com.hk/shop/k...se-p-8744.html) to make it sit closer to the mag rubber. And yes- it did fix the problem.. if not completely then it sure did get a lot better. I also could test the setup without the tape, but with newer magazines and it was working fine. I would like to know if anybody else has experienced this issue. The rubbers dont seem like they have been worn or teared, but they seem to sit lower compared to newer mags. |

I think it's usually the magazine catch that wears. Then the mag isn't held solidly against the BBU.

the catch is guarder's steel. and the mag itself doesnt seem to be worn from the magcatch hook. sure the black finish is scraped off, but i wouldnt say it is shaved down.
i ordered some spare magrubbers from tokyomodel. I will update when i receive them. Last edited by heikis; June 24th, 2013 at 15:53.. |
