FPS
I am finding myself disappointed while shopping for my first gun. It seems as though in my area we are limited to 350FPS on our guns MAX. Most of the guns I look at are 360 or higher, is there are way to just customize any gun to lower the FPS?

Yeah. Open 'er up and change out the spring to one that is a lower power.

Sure. Research, read, FAQs.
But I'll be kind and say: Hello, you can downgrade the FPS by changing th spring. A weaker spring will give less compression, leading to a lower FPS. Now go and read the stickied threads on the newbie section. |

350 Is usually for indoors, around these neck of the woods 400 is the normal for outdoors.
Changing the FPS is relatively easy, once you know how, just a spring swap and you're golden Many videos on Youtube on how to do so for virtually every airsoft weapon ever made. Just search "M4/AK(whatever your weapon is) airsoft spring swap" Just know, it's a limit not a goal. This cannot be stressed enough. With the right parts, a 300 FPS gun will shoot pretty much the same as a 400 FPS gun.
