Canadian Fields: RG, or CB?

What would work better for the fields in Southern Ontario. Ranger green, or Coyote brown? I am leaning towards Ranger Green, simply because it seems to be the correct colour to work for both urban, and woodland. note: I am making a full Flyye kit, so it will all be their RG or CB

Both depending on where you are and time of year.
I personnaly try to go with camo pouches and vests and such to match my bdu but when i cant find what i need (woodland is getting scarce)
I do one of two things. I blend RG OD CB and Khaki pouches to help bresk up the shape of gear and my body shape (as a sniper i guess im more picky about that as often i wont see the guy in MC or Cadpat but his chest rig or plate carrier will trigger a threat response in my mind as its an easy to recognize shape) or i just paint my gear (like this khaki ak rig i have ill be adding OD and Brown krylon to it to break it up a bit in a sort of stripe or blotch pattern, havent decided yet)
But if you going for gucci gear type look then id say go a tan/khaki color as it will go with woodland MC and dessert gear (almost all camo has some tan/chaki/cb to it so itll work with em all, besides cadpat lol)

Well, from what I have seen, RG works with both tan and green BDUs, so I might just go with that. I was really just wondering what the different opinions were. I personally find that a solid colour vest over a camo BDU helps really break up the outline of a person, especially in woodland, or brush areas.

Sure looks green there to me.

If you want brown go to Alberta and the BC interior, (and parts of Sask/MB before they start whining).

I guess thats a matter of perspective. I find MC one of the hardest camos to see folowed by cadpat (if in cedars and pines) so i find myself looking for what stands out like a solid od vest or pc (an easy to recognize shape and when its a solid color amongst a mixex background it stands out) or more often looking for either guns or goggles as they are also an easy to id shape in an wooded environment.
If you want effective camo break it up. If you want just somewhat blend then in most of the fields around here itll be greenish from late may to october befor and after that itll be tans snd browns.

That is my point. RG seems to be right in the perfect middle to be of use all year long. It is green enough to fit in woodland, but a sort of light enough colour to fit for tans. And yeah, I guess it is perspective. As a rifleman, I usually just ID my targets based on helmets, guns and camo. For some reason, I find it easier to spot a moving camo pattern, than a solid colour vest that has some shadows cast on it.

Moving is a whole different ball game.
The human eye is super sensative to movement. If they are moving, especially if they are in a full walk or running you can see em from way off and no camo will negate movement. Im talking stationary targets (when camo will actually have an effect if they are sniper low crawling (face down flat out moving an inch or two at a time) camo will also help but once theg get up in knees and elbows and do a normal low crawl camo wont help much either as the movement will trup the camo.

Well, for my tan outfit, I like an ATACS BDU, so RG seems to work pretty well with it, because of the sort of grey-green colour. Yeah, with true tan like desert stuff, it looks sort of off, but it is manageable.

Genuine Ranger (sometimes called Smoke) green is one of those colours with the rare ability to blend anywhere.

The downside is the real stuff is not cheap or easy to get and the clone stuff isn't as good.

Flyye seems to manage a pretty decent copy of genuine Ranger Green, from what I have seen. That's why I am dropping the extra cash for the better quality stuff.
