Gun lubrication
I need a grease so I can grease by gearbox but I can't find any silicone grease in my area. Are there any alternatives?

Super lube. Grey tube. There's a thread on it here. Search superlube

Is superlube something I could buy at Canadian Tire or do I need to order it online?

I've found KY jelly to be much better than superlube. Much more versatile with many more applications (eg pistons, rubbers). Needless to say, its kept my all my gears lubed up very nicely for many years.

Homehardware has superlube. Just ask them to order it for you. They have it at the warehouse just not always in store. They should have it in, within 3ish days and no charge for shipping etc

This should last you awhile. Just be sure to know the product number because thats how they locate the product in their system. just asking for 'super lube' you may get the wrong stuff. |
