Experience with Combat Sets? Brands?
I've been looking into obtaining a good pair of tac pants (the ones with the integrated pads). I've seen a few brands and am wondering what people's experiences with them are. Some companies I've seen reproducing them:
- Allwin: http://airsoftdepot.ca/catalog/produ...oducts_id=1486 - TMC: http://redwolfairsoft.com/redwolf/ai..._MC_L_Size.htm - Emerson: http://www.airsoftpark.com/product_i...oducts_id=8931 Now I'm specifically looking at durability; ie. how well it holds up and quality of stitching, and coloring; specifically fading. Any insight into any of these brands or other better brands is welcome. |

Got the Allwin Gen 3 in MC
I can't really speak for it though as I used it once, but I like it much; Breathable, comfortable, nice system to adjust the pant's length and height of the pads. Stitching is nothing crazy but looks like it'll hold. I to a pretty "bad" fall (for the combat shirt at least, I was ok beside a big bruise :P) on rocks and dirt at my last game; I slid at least 5-6 feets on my side and shoulder. The shirt still look like nothing happened, to my surprise. Can't speak for the other brands at all, but I'm satisfied with the Allwin. I have a very small frame, 5'6" 120lbs, and the small is a little bit big. Waist at minimum is just ok, shirt feels a bit big but not too much. I'd say the waist of the pants would be perfect for 30" to 34" at least, not sure about 36" Hope this help a bit |
