RSOV. Sorry, I guess they're more like $8-$10, but much more in line with M4 mags than you'd think.

The G&G is almost exactly like my real one. Steel receiver, the polymer furniture, everything.

I've had both before. If you look back on posts two years ago, it's full of Styrak going blue in the face telling me to buy a G&G. The ICS has a really wobbly trigger guard. The charging handle comes off really easily (Although this is an issue with JGs and Maruis as well, I hear). The metal actually starts...I don't know, if not rusting, then developing this nasty bronze look. The selector switch is rather weak on the right side of the gun. Saying the externals are "slightly" better on the G&G is like saying the externals are slightly nicer on a Ferrari compared to a Kia. They both get you from point A to B, but obviously one is much more stylish. The ICS reciever seems to be made of two pieces that just weren't matched together, and you'll notice a bit more gaps on it after a few months of hard play. Oh, and the ICS has a somewhat wobbly folding stock. It'll be fine for a few months, but if you unfold and refold a lot, it'll start to wobble. The G&G feels so solid, sometimes I have trouble unfolding and locking it in place. It feels like a solid stock.

Also to note is that the ICS has a thicker handguard/heatshield piece. The G&G feels much thinner, to the point where you can practically wrap your entire hand around it. It makes for a more comfortable experience, really. G*G 552s and 553s come with the top rail, which is a nice touch.

Again, the ICS is decent for the money, but if you had asked me to do the previous experiences of the last three years over again, I'd just save the cash and buy a G&G.

Don't get me wrong, I love the look, but at first I though that it was like a M4 and a G36 had sex and produced this....
We do not speak of the abomination, for it is a sin. As is the abomination itself. The abomination is like fucking your own Grandma.

all external things... the internals outweigh the externals when both are metal receivers ... as far as wearing down, or rusting, i think that looks cool. sure the ris on the ics are plastic as appose to the g&G's metal ris ... not a huge deal... and the heat shield handguards dont matter to me as I use a bi-pod grip anyways...

anyways, off topic a little, just go for a g36 if your torn. Its different, and you can get a mag adapter to go both ways.

Shooter STANAG mag adapters work with Pmags and Emags without mods. KA STANAGs also work, but need the tape mod.
You also need to wear it in before it feeds well. But that's a whe nother story.
