Worth getting a TM 1911 MEU?

Other consideration....if you ever go the route of a metal kit, both base gun will work. I've never built anything off a MEU...buy the cheaper one in that case. Caveat would be if you want the more modern control and don't want to buy Nova parts...

Actually, the two base guns are slightly different at the receiver - particularly around the beavertail tang.
