Yeah propane can get thick... Being from southern Sask, I've never considered true indoors lol. We play at an abondoned farm house formly used for painball (gross walls!!) and there's no windows in the house, so when a propane nade goes off nobody really notices the smell. We also use propane because it's extreme CQC in that place. Southen Sask airsoft at it's best, isn't comparable to any played out of province...

madbull CO2 powered nades are not your typical low powered nades they blast anywhere from 108 to 204 bbs (depending on the model) around 280-300+fps again depending on the amount of pressure

it's actually not that bad if you use it responsibly at 600psi not 600fps I'm sure it's a typo from coach

The only time we ever load our nades to 600PSI for indoors is if we know that there will be some would be terminators (boneheads who don't call their hits) in attendance the rest I will load them to a max of 500psi @ 600psi it will clear the other end of most of the indoor field we play and 99%of the time we use the 600psi as a cover for advancing forces.
like I said in my previous post there are some stupid people out there that wont take a mercy with a launcher pointed at them I had one not too long ago where the opfor was coming around a corner and he walked into the barrel when I said mercy he shot me, I could be an asshole and shot him up close and personal in the next round but I was being nice that day, so I target his legs instead. In the end he knew very well to take the mercy the next time he walked into a guy with a 9 nade launcher pointed at him, lesson learned

It is true that with 203 nade, it is really go CO2 or go home, with propane sometimes I shot guys at 15 feet and they were noy calling their hits. They hear the pop but don't feel anything. With Co2 at 600 psi, it is fine, shot people at 15-20 feet sometimes and nobody's complaining, obviously you donlt aim at the face but with 203...people are scared because of the sound and they are sure that it will hurt alot, but in reality it is nothing to be affraid of.

awesome, thanks everyone

yeah I think the sound is more scary then the actual hit... Ive used .25 and .12 in it (was told that the cheap bbs are fine for lauchers) and it felt like or looked like the .12s were faster or harder or scarier, I dont know...

but pointing down, thats a good one, I was always thinking centre mass but worrying that I might get a few in someones face. I dont anticipate too much indoor CQB with it since its on a m16 right now so I'll be sticking to propane until I can delegate funds for a CO2 loader

Bah! Typo. Yes it's 600 psi.

But I know Wildcard can share of old hot shot games above 500fps...

Eh, I got 203'd when a jumpy guy ran around a corner and forgot that me yelling HIT with my hand in the air means I'm dead. He was probably 20 ft away.. I definitely noticed him, but it didn't hurt.

Given the options I'd rather take a 203 at that range than a full auto blast.
