it looked more like it was a hex key built into the bottom of the sliding portion. I could be wrong, but I think that might be it.

That.s what he meant. That hex key is used to unscrew the cover of the co2 powerlet

A long time ago I heard a rumor that G&G were going to make an Aug a3, was the idea scrapped? That would be my next purchase if they came out with one.
