Kong Burst Wizard Mosfet Into P90?

I googled around and have seen multiple different ways people have said to try.

With the wierd trigger in the p90. How would someone wire a mosfet computer into the gun?

There are some that you just plug in-line between the battery and the power lead going in to the gearbox. No soldering required.

Yeah not what I'm looking for.
The p90 has a bit different type of trigger setup. I think I have it figured but it's not operating properly. trouble shooting now.

i used a triggermaster in mine..


if it helps at all, here is how the p90 trigger (and f2000 for what its worth) triggers work:

The contacts on the top are the switches for semi auto fire, and that's what disengages with the cutoff lever. The bottom switches are for full auto. The selector will allow the trigger to slide a bit further back when in full auto, until those switches contact.


Took me a bit to figure out too, especially since my p90 was my first AEG...

On the burst wizard, it looks like it just plugs in where your battery normally plugs into and you plug the battery into the mosfet.

Does the gun fire properly in semi and fully without the mosfet? The trigger is funky, so if it's not getting cut off properly in semi, the circuit isn't being broken and could be confusing the mosfet. Mine would stutter until I fixed the trigger issues, but I use a cheetah 2n with triggermaster.

If your gun is in order, it should work. The circuit IS being brokent when in Semi, just like any other gun.

If you test it outside the gun, you probably just bump the trigger to auto when the cut-off engages. I have been installing FETs all the time in P90. Use the two connectors at the bottom as your trigger points. The red wire from the battery should stay there and the red wire to the motor is the place you want to install your "trigger" wire.

Black motor and battery wires are obvious...
The red battery wire also has to stay on the mechbox and be doubled to the trigger unit (that depends on the unit though, be careful).

I am just getting a partial pull. I can see the piston head move a little bit. and I can get the odd fire from it.

It's just dumbfounded.

I'm planning to rewire again just incase somethings wrong some where.
