G&P M203
Does any own this launcher? I've heard that its got pretty good quality
and was wondering if GB-Tech 40mm Airsoft Cartridge will be able to fit into it THanks

I have the RIS version, it's very nice, all metal construction. So it's nice and hefty. To use the GB-Tech grenade, you'll have to remove one guide pin from the launcher tube (shown in the instructions that come with the GB-Tech grenade).

Will that affact the performance or the durablity in any way?
probly more aproprate questions is that how diffcult will removing the pins be? Thanks

I own the RIS one too. It's a really great, solid unit. For the price, I think its the best m203 out there.

The problem with G&P M203 (RIS versions) is they seem to be sold out across the world. I have been trying to hunt down one but retailers keep saying its 10 weeks or more before they get one in right now.
Other then that they are the top choice of M203s. One question I have for M203 owners is, is the weight of the g&p m203 doing any damage to the front end of your gun? |

Yup there's definitely some added weight on the front; I added a Nitro.vo sleeve to mine, but ideally you'd probably want a metal body. I also switched to a Crane stock, since mounting a large battery in an AN/PEQ to an already heavy front end would have made the gun way too front heavy.
The realism part I can deal with, honestly I find the airsoft RIS-mounted M203 more "realistic" looking than the XM-8 or FN2000 :P One of the reasons I opeted for RIS though is I'm using a Commando -length (11.5") barrel setup, which wouldnt accomodate the regular mout properly. It also allows me to mount or remove the M203 in 5 seconds flat, and lets me mount it on any RIS-equipped gun without any hassles. For practicality's sake, I was willing to forego a slight bit of realism. And as Obelisk observed, there is a slightly larger gap, maybe ~1cm. It's not that noticeable unless you know.
