KWA MP9 quick fix ?
Hey guys,
its not as much as a mod or upgrade its just a general question actually, i've been told that running a gas gun on duster gas will lower your FPS on the gun, so my question is, is this a good idea for the MP9, it wont be permanent fix just a quick fix till i get the flute value, i would only do this if i get a chance to play an indoor game while the flute value is coming in so what do you guys think is it a good idea or should i just say screw it and wait for the flute value ? Thank you

Using duster would be fine, assuming it cycles properly.

Due to the heavy metal bolt, duster gas may not be able to cycle the gun properly. Generally duster is used on plastic guns with plastic bolt / slides. You'd have to try it to see if it works in your gun or not.
And as a side note, if you're to use duster, make sure that it's 134A (tetrafluoroethane) gas ONLY. It's a bit harder to locate and more expensive than the commonly available stuff (difluoroethane). Make absolutely sure it's not difluoroethane, as that stuff is corrosive to rubber and will eat the seals in your mag and gun over time.

perfect! yeah if i were to use it i would use the duster gas then right after that game fill the mag with propane and just empty a mag just so i don't really ruin anything and lube the gun at the same time!

Look up the danger werx flute valve. It brings the fps down to a consistant 330fps, which is perfect for indoor. Just make sure you know what you are doing when you install it.

Woops. I misread your post. It may be easier to just wait till the valve comes in. You absolutely need to lube the gun more than once a game. It will not cycle properly when dry.
