Exclamation Help, GBBR Rust!

Hi guys! So, I've had my WE M16A3 for like more than a month and a half, and I noticed a bit of rusting on the outer barrel, retaining screws, dust cover...
So, what should I do, I don't want this babe to die, I love it to death!

Thanks!

Changing the name of your thread will help first. Make it more specific to the problem and what gun it's affecting.

Get a can of Jig-A-Loo, use it to clean off the rust.

You can then spray rust-prone parts like the outer barrel and screws: the lubricating film help repel water and prevent rust. Avoid getting it on rubber/silicone/etc, it contains methylene chloride (a potent solvent). Avoid getting it on paint as it may strip it/cause it to bubble/peel. Likewise, use in a well ventilated area and avoid getting it on your skin.

And as always, a bit of maintenance after games helps prevent this sort of thing.

Yes, I've done maintenance, but I suppose I forgot anti-rust!

Thanks!
