I don't understand. You got BBs from a Canadian retailer, and want to use oversea BBs that will cost you more?

Guarder BB's are marginally larger than most other brands. This may potentially cause feeding problems.
Besides that, they have a great spherical concentricity, are very hard and tough. However, they are not polished as nice as BB Bastards. |

I'd go with BB bastard first but alternatives that I'd also use include Matrix, Airsoft Elite (MTMFG), and Madbull.
I just got a bunch of Matrix BB's and have no complaints about them (running them through Magpul/STAR Green Label mags, with a 6.02 TBB and G&P hop up + Guarder black).

i just want to start pickin up larger amounts of bbs at a time and you can buy 4000 bags of guarders for dirt cheap overseas. less than the cost of a 2000 bag of bb bastards. if anyone has any better suggestions though im all ears

Have you checked the shipping on those BB's from overseas?
You're going to be looking in the thousands for shipping alone. |

Guarder BB's work good with stock 6.08mm bore barrels. A few people used to run them here back when I started. They'll give you a lot of issues if you have a tightbore though due to their increased size. Stick to BB bastards.

Agreed, I haven't had a single problem with Guarder BB's jamming in tightbores... even 6.01 had no problems. The only problems I had, was some minor issues fitting through some GBB feed lips, and some lowcap magazines that have tight feed paths may not allow the Guarder BB's to fill the mag to capacity.

hmmm ,maybe ill just stick with bb bastards for now. mostly i use G&P and MAG brand magazines and havnt gotten around to installing a nicer barrel yet but i plan on it. anyone know where to get bbs that compare with bastards but in bulk orders? 0.28gs?

Xtreme Tactics in Manitoba used to sell bulk Airsoft Elite BB's in "Rice bags". Not sure if they do it anymore, but that said the shipping costs are phenomenal and just not worth it. When Metal Tech Mfg (The Tac Shop) used to do it they sold 5 bags in "bulk" for cheaper.
Other than that, IMO you should just eat the costs and accept it. Compared to paintball, BB's are pennies on the dollar. Finally, the last thing you could do is become a dealer with Airsoft Elite or find one of their dealers and see if you can order x amount of BB's for cheaper (a minimum order quantity every quarter might be required though).
