If it's not with you mag is out and chamber is clear.

On a lot of airsoft weapons if you pull the trigger hard enough with the safety on something will break. So you don't want them in the hands of the clueless.

1. treat it like a real gun, don't store it with a loaded magazine.
2. don't leave it out where people who aren't supposed to be messing with it.
3. anybody who does ask to mess with it, make sure you explain to them, keep it pointed in a safe direction at all times.

if you push it down it's a decocker. if decocked the gun is VERY safe. In fact, sigs ( like the P226) ONLY have decockers, no safeties.

I agree double action trigger is much stiffer and harder to pull. You can't accidentally shoot the gun that way unless your an idiot.

That said about the P226 sort of made my day
Don't feel to bad anymore about the safety issue.

Trigger control is not the point here (have the same problem with mine) ... I mean, when you buy an 250-300$ gun from a good brand, you expect is caracteristics to be presents and in working order... especially about safety on a... what ?... yeah, a firearm replica !

If the Cruise Control of my car break, even if I don't use it, I will go to the garage and fix-it... because I paid a f***ing 700$ for it !

This flaw should be corrected by KWA/KSC.

My five cents (inflation and gas price rise)

That's only for the real ones.

With the airsoft ones aslong as there's a mag in it, if the gun is decocked with the decocker, it will still fire when you pull the trigger.

I'm going to have to check that on my USP when I get my gas adapter. Though when I took a look at mine without the top receiver. The decocker works, safety does not.

From my observation when I fire the hammer hits the metal part but when I use the decker it does not hit. Then again I don't have my gas adapter to confirm if it is working or not.

The hell are you talking about? it makes it double action, which is a much heavier trigger pull. Real ones do the exact same thing.

Food for thought: My sidearm of choice is a Glock 17. No safety levers on them. As long as my finger is off the trigger and I follow the rules of firearms safety, I'm good to go.
