Kraken Aftermath AK-47 issue
Hi ,
A bad thing happened to my Kraken Aftermath AEG, the stock broke and I need advice on how to fix it. If there is not a way , do you know where I could find a new body (lower receiver) for my Kraken , and If it is possible , as cheap as we can go because my budget is really tight at the moment. Thanks! -Kamil S. PICTURES: http://tinypic.com/r/1z23p83/7 http://tinypic.com/r/2cfs6td/7 http://tinypic.com/r/28rz3wm/7 http://tinypic.com/r/2v9yh6o/7 http://tinypic.com/r/33w5her/7 |

Get Age verified on ASC and a retailer may be able to get you a new metal lower receiver however they usually run from 100-200$. Or you may be able to buy a used plastic receiver from someone on the classifieds.

If your budget is really tight right now your out of luck. A new lower reciever will probably be more expensive then replacing the whole gun. Which with the Kraken AK is probably a better idea.

Ouch. I would say a lot of putty. something that is going to hold those two together really well...Then once its settled, wrap it up with a little bit of duct tape. This is just a quick fix of course. It won't look nice cosmetically. But, if all you care about is getting it back up in your shoulder, try it out.
I have one where the receiver cracked in half on one side. Did what I recommended with it, and it holds up really well. I don't care how it looks. Mostly cause it's just a loaner, and - it's a Kraken for christs sake - I still like them.

If I were in your situation I'd throw a bit of tape over the hole on the end to keep dirt out, tape the battery to the side of the gun like a ghetto PEQ and use it like that. It would be somewhat badass.

Umm, I don't remember what the name of it was. It was some sort of industrial goo, or soemthing. Read the label to make sure its okay with plastics. Wouldn't want your receiver to melt on ya.
