m203 on a m16, do i need to change out the handguard?
Is it just a cosmetic thing?
Basicly, i want a grenade launcher for my m16, but i cant really afford to get the cool looking upper handguard piece right now, can i just use the upper default handguard with the m203 mounted to the outer barrel? Ive tried to look for pictures with this setup to see what it looks like first, but no luck... Thoughts?

Yes, you can just use the stock upper handguard.

But, does it look stupid? ...

Theres a big space (gap) between the upper and the 203 as you would have to remove the lower handguard to mount it.

It'll look like that but with a longer handguard.
