AEG electrical issue
Description: the AEG does not fire when battery is installed and trigger pulled. To be specific, it does not do ANYTHING - no power appears to be passing through to the motor at all. Pull trigger and... nothing happens. No noise whatsoever.
What I've done so far: - Installed a different battery. Same outcome. - Checked the fuse - appears ok. (miniblade type) - Bypassed fuse and attempted to fire. Nothing. - Thought that I might have some bad wiring in the stock (this is a vfc scar-l). Ran a bypass directly to receiver's electrical contact points and attempt to fire. Nothing. Options: I'm stumped. I suppose I can pull the motor and mechbox out and start troubleshooting each part individually. Another possibility might be the trigger mechanism, but I can't see it being shorted if the fuse is still intact. Any ideas...? :? And, thanks in advance. |

Check your motor contacts. One likely popped off.

Yeah I'd check that in first place too.

Resolved
The issue was indeed a popped connection on the motor. Blatantly obvious once I pulled the bottom cap off the pistol grip.
Thanks, All! |
