Lubricating mags

Got a couple of AUG mags laying around that don't feed as well anymore (midcaps).

Once I open em up, what's the typically procedure for cleaning and re-lubing? I have silicon drops.

Load 1 or 2 bb's in.
Put a few drops of oil on those bb's.
Load the mag full, release back into loader.
Repeat loading and releasing.
Afterwards, discard the oily bb's (and you may need to clean out your loader too)
