But I prefer paying 25$ for my adaptor than having to change my fill valves. And I <3 AI

I've never had a problem with fill valves in 3-4 years.

Just buy a fill valve key off of illusion and you'll have no problem replacing fill valves. It also does flow valves as well.
Besides, you might be able to get a few of you at the field to chip in for it. Cheers, FACE

lol i had problem filling gas into my mag with the metal adapter, it worked fine for the first mag fill but after it wouldn't fill, i ended up using my friends adapter the AI plastic one and it worked fine.
Basically the metal one the nozzle or watever that supposed to be pushed into the coleman tank doesn't do that, well it does i loosened the bolt holding it but it ended up spraying gas everywhere instead of filling the mag |

That metal one of Seff5677's is pretty damn useless. I'm content with the plastic one. Seeing what we had to do to get it to work definitely put me off even thinking about buying the metal cap.

There are different versions of metal adapters. The one he has is probably crap.

Point in case, IMO AI should have a "Deluxe" metal adapter (its not like they aren't already designed/succesful/well liked); the plastic one is fine for some people, and I can understand wanting to keep the price down/competitive (specially for a certain market segment), but IMO it was a huge step backwards for a lot of other players who make heavier duty use of it.
The folks running a dozen 40mm shells aren't gonna balk at paying an extra $10-15 for a superior quality metal adapter, and from my experience the plastic one just isn't up to the job.
