Vertical grip on a WE EBR M14

I think it help very much to support the weight of the gun. But it's a metal handgrip. I'm not a fan of the "X-player" doh

551 fps with Ra-Tech stock lenght 6.025 inner barrel. 485 fps with Deepfire 705mm 6.02 inner barrel.

Not much upgrades, Ra-Tech hop rubber (it's incredible how it seal better then stock WE hop up rubber). I did some upgrades myself such a and high flow magazine valve, high flow noozle valve, adding more tension to hammer spring.

It's by far the most impressive, quality and look, airsoft I ever had. It weight a huge 6 kilos and it's the first airsoft I built that has absolutly no woobles any where. It feel like lifting a huge solid rock.

Those are some good numbers..

My Lv2 M14 on the way has the RaTech 6.01 TBB and their hop rubber and some steel parts. I'll have to look into the high flow magazine valve and high flow nozzle valve.

Yeah but I think it's so unique and not many people will have a GBBR M14

It's not my style, but it looks nice, and good job on the build.

To me a rifle, airsoft or otherwise, is a tool. It shoudn't look like a show piece, it should look like a whore that was ridden hard and put away wet. Just my opinion.

The high flow valves I made them myself by cutting 2 of the 4 legs of it. No leaking problems at all. I did the same with the noozle plastic valve, but I don't think that this one affect fps as much as the magazine valve. I wish I had a 6.01 tighbore, on my next Ra-Tech order for sure!

The handle changes completly how the gun feel in hands. My bipod is all in steel and it add way too much weight on the front. With the grip it's more frontend lighter and handle like a charm.

Mad, I'm a collector/plinker so my guns can't really looks used since I'm not using them very much. I'm only building them for fun ^^

Exact same mod as on GBB pistol! Just bigger and easier! But to be honest, it was my first try in life as doing this mod and the first one leaks. The second didn't. The difference was that the first one I completly disassemble it and when reassembling it start leaking from the back of it. No link with the mod. The second one I didn't disassemble it and it still works wonder!

If I can suggest you, do this mod first and look for the fps gain. The noozle plastic valve is more annoying to do and don't give any noticable fps gain. But you can also shorten (trim) the noozle bulbs about 1mm each side. This will allow the valve to stay open longuer, maning more fps! But if you cut too much fps will lower a lot.

I tried many things on it

Sweet thanks for the tip. I like DIY mods for free FPS. Did you also use some teflon on the hop up rubber for a better seal?

I ALWAYS, no matter how good a hop up seal look, add teflon tape. It's very impressive how it can affect fps! On my new VFC M4A1 GBBR, after cleaning the inner barrel et adding teflon for maximum sealing I pass from 485fps to 500fps. Completly free ^^
