another thing I'm concerned about is power. I find my ~300 fps pdw to be a little lacking...hate it when i can see someone dodging my shots. thus wanting a longer inner barrel on a gbb, push it maybe 375 fps with .2
then look for any platform that you can add a longer inner barrel and install high flow valves on your mags. then use heavier BB's and go to town.

personally love the tm mk23 with .3's but will often use .25's with only a little drop off in max range.

how's that? what? shhhhh!

btw, a TM mk23 socom can easily outrange stock or mildly upgraded AEG's with 1 mod and 2 upgrades. Longer TBB, nine ball hopup rubber and disable the safety valves on the mags to run propane.

Remove bottom plate. Pop out valve and spring. Epoxy or JB weld. Reseal bottom plate. Bob's your uncle and oh your mags are propane happy!

Removing the half pin is the hardest part.

So basically, the goal is to seal up the valve?

Yes. Well the opening at least. Basically, the safety valve vents out of an opening in the fill valve. Over pressure causes the valve to compress against the spring creating an opening for gas to escape. Prolonged or repeated over pressure causes the spring to fail and it gets stuck open. Which is why some guys have major leak problems.

(I think I have pics in my DIY tutorial.)
