KSC System 7 Upgrade?

I have a non-System 7 KSC USP, and I'm wondering if it's possible to upgrade it to System 7 standard? It's near-impossible to source new magazines for non-S7 versions and it would be great to be able to run more than one magazine.

Thanks in advance for any help!

Go to airsoftparts.ca or contact jugglez here on the forums(he owns airsoft parts) and see if he can help you out (ask nicely). He has them listed on his site (the non system seven magazines but the are out of stock. He may be able to help you out.

I don't think you can convert between the two systems. You'll have to buy a new USP to use system 7 mags.

No, you can't just "upgrade". It's a whole new design.

Yep, it is possible, however you will need to source new guts. The only difference between the sys7 and the standard frame is the magazine catch.

The sys7 was re-designed such that it will work with both the standard USP and USP sys7 magazine. The standard USP frame on the other hand will only accommodate the standard USP mag and will not hold the USP sys7 mag.

All that would be required to make the standard USP frame work with the USP sys7 mag would be a simple replacement of the magazine catch.

Bottom line, sell you gun and buy a new one, or find a retailer that will ship you everything but the frame.

AFAIK, the stuff need to be change is the blow-back chamber, innerbarrel-hopup assembly. The rest are usable. KWAUSA sells these stuff just need to phone in

as for non-s7 mags, look for Chinese clone of KSC USP. KSC sold their old molds to one of chinese company

Ooooooh, good call, kullwarrior. That China clone is a GREAT idea.

I've personally found KWAUSA to be not that cooperative when I was trying to order some USP parts. They kinda replied once, telling me to wait for the next message, but the next message never came.
