Galil Sniper-style Scope Mount on Airsoft guns?
Ever notice how Galil sniper's scope is slightly off to the left to enable the use of iron sights? I was thinking of doing the same to this gun right here when it comes out. Instead of the scope that is mounted to the left, I would use a red dot sight instead. That way, i can have quick access to it in CQB situations Thing is, there is no galil sniper-style scope mount available for Type 97 sniper, so I was wondering if you guys have any suggestions like how to attach a picatinny rail on it. Much help appreciated

never heard of offset rails, looks interesting, but i don't think the Chinese army uses Picatinny rails except on their QBZ 95G variants =/
look closely at how the scope is mounted

okay, in that pic it kinda looks like a picatinny to me. but if its not then as long as that rail piece isnt molded right to the body should be pretty simple as taking that one off buying a length of picatinny then using the same screw mounts to mount it.

hey after a little digging looks like that mount isnt picatinny so probably just have to wait until its released until you can find out if that rail is removable
