Currently , I am still waiting to be AV'd. Meanwhile, I did some research over TM's 1911. There are two models available,
M.E.U. ![]() or colt government 1911a1 ![]() Since both guns have excellent stats, I am not very sure which one should I go for it. I heard both of them are made of mostly ABS plastic which I am not very impressed with. Should I just buy them first and upgrade them later? or should I pick some other brand's 1911 which have more metal parts on them? Thanks. Last edited by miserlou; October 24th, 2010 at 18:29.. |

TM's don't need metal slide, etc. They work great.
If you do want a full metal 1911, then get a TM and upgrade it, or get a KJW. |

you say you're not impressed by the plastic, but have you ever even touched this gun? TM pistols are excellent quality out of the box, and are superb in their function. The plastic isn't heavy weight, but does have a decent weight to them.
If you're heavily into customizing your future 1911, TM is the way to go. if you don't care and just want something to play with, you can go with another company that makes a full metal pistol. I guarantee the TM will outperform any other make. |

TM's are probably the best gas pistols around.
